a. Purchase of property to house Sports Material Room for Rs.350, 000 funded by London Branch

b. Purchase of property to house Auditorium, for Rs.500, 000 funded by London Branch

c. Purchase of property to house ICT Center or any other related activity, for Rs.300, 000 jointly funded by Colombo Branch and the two Branches in Australia

d. Developing a needs and resources available statement, in context of rebuilding the school in line with the vision statement

e. Applying to the Government Agency to seek the equipment and fitting free of charge for the ICT Center.

f. Developing and maintaining a website, which spells out up to date information on the activities of the Trust

g. Discussed with Asia Foundation and arranged Books for Library

h. Identified a sponsor (Past Pupil V. Mathivanan) to pay for the setting up of a new canteen as described in the development plans. Cost of sponsorship Rs. 1 Million

i. Facilitated the entry of past pupils and parents to school premises on a daily basis as against current practice of restricted entry of only one day a week by taking up the matter with the defense authorities.

j. Developed an action plan to kick start the construction program in connection with the Auditorium, Canteen and a temporary meeting Hall.

k. Liased with SDC, an NGO in channelling funds available for assistance towards areas identified in our master plan.

l. Commenced a process to identify the respective roles of the various branches in order to avoid duplication and to accelerate development efforts.

m. A furniture replacement program has been commissioned with the assistance of Canada Branch.

n.  Followed up with the Ministry of Education to get funding for Auditorium.

O. Obtained a 21 seater bus for the school, by liasing with the Ministry of Trade, under in initiative on assistance to Tsunami affected schools.

P. Liased with SDC, an NGO in channelling funds available for assistance towards areas identified in our master plan.
